America's Current Path... We Should Be Concerned

Some countries who would enjoy seeing America fall flat on its face refer to us as "The Great Satan" etc. While this may sound a bit over the top, may we pause to examine even the remote possibility as to why other nations or groups may define our country so harshly? First of all it is important to note that some of these groups and countries have track records involving basic human rights that make us appear angelic in comparison. Lets pull the writing off the wall for a moment and examine it for ourselves. I will attempt to piece together a written collage of what I see as concern.

Can we agree on this...? There is your truth (as you see it) in your limited human form and consciousness. Then there is also my truth (as I see it) in my limited human form and consciousness. We may both be flawed at times while at other times right on. Then there is Gods truth in unlimited perfect form, and he is supreme consciousness. Yes, you read it right... no type O. If you are an athiest you are either intreged by this post or rolling on the floor in laughter...Hopefully not angry.

 Lets continue shall we... Ok lets agree for the sake of argument that we are flawed and God is perfect. There is your truth (imperfect and often flawed and inacurate) And my truth is the same. Gods truth does not change on a whim, or because it is convenient, it never goes out of style, it is not "A Respector of Persons, it does not care whether or not we believe that his word is truth. His word is what it is and does not change or adjust to appeas us. We cannot even take our next breath without his permission... He is that Powerful... that Awsome! We can try to twist Gods word to fit our percieved needs and carnal desires and some may say that is living a lie.

This blog may be percieved by some as contravercial or offensive in a society that believes in the lie that "If it feels good do it". Some may say... "But my lifestyle is not hurting anyone... what about "Live and let live". The devil made me do it! We have all failed, we have all strayed we have all sinned, and Thank God for his grace and mercy. How does our country line up with God's word today? I am not a history buff but I believe I can confidently say that our forefathers who genuinely loved this country would weep to see what we are becoming as a nation. Remember the TV commercial with the weeping American Indian with tears rolling down his face after someone drives by throwing trash outside a car window... are we trashing our country?

Please allow me to reveal what concerns me deeply about what I see, and if you are a God fearing person perhaps you know without question that what is allowed to occur in this country in the name of  political correctness and individual rights is offensive to God. Many of you will not even need to research what I believe to aggegious and insulting to a loving God. If you are an athiest or anti Cristian this may be perceived as outright nonsense to you, and you may respectfully stop reading this blog at any time. How do you think a country that allows the following to transpire / become law line up with the word of God. Before you judge my concern please recall your truth, my truth, and Gods truth.

Just how do we now line up as a country / a society with the word of God? Please remember that this Country was founded on Judeo Christian principles. What do you think Gods word says about... Killing a child in the womb, (Remember your truth, my truth, Gods truth, what do you think God thinks of this?) What about the gay lifestyle, gay marriage (offending the very sanctity ordained by God of a marriage between a man and a woman). What about creating laws that if you come into this country illegally you need to return from whence you came and get in line with those who play by the rules.

What kind of a message are we sending to those who do the right thing... and what do you think God thinks of a society... and even a president who refuses to enforce the law due to politically selfish needs? What kind of a President threatens to sue a state because they enforce the laws that he should be inforcing? When did political expediency replace just doing the right thing for right things sake? And why should a polititian require a political strategy in the first if he or she is coming from a place of truth?

What country allows offensive and degrading music to hit the airwaves? Some of this music promotes violence, degrades women, and has no respect for law and order. What about video games that promote the same thing and desensitizes our kids just a handfull of years out of the womb? Then there are movies and TV, magazines, clothing designed for a hooker promoted to children using manipulative Madison Avenue tactics. What about grown adult parents dressing their baby girls like hookers parading down a catwalk in order to fulfill their own selfish agendas. And then there is the Big P... Pornography, how many marriages have shipwrecked due to Porn Addiction ... How many lives destroyed? The list goes on and on... add infinitum! Do we not think that God is watching... Have we tuned him out in favor of the headspinning technology that is consuming our time and energy?

Is America On The Wrong Path?

America has and is referred to as a Great country. However, have we strayed from the sound foundation set forth by our wise for fathers? At what point do we cross the line to the side of being a Great country on the decline? are we already there, and if so... why? If we were to look deep inside ourselves as an individual what do we see? If we were to look around at American society in general, what do we see? How do we and our evolved society line up with the well thought out foundation set forth by those before us?

Is the foundation eroding, if so how badly eroded is it? Is our American structure in danger of collapse due to inattention to a crumbling foundation? How can we repair the cracks suffered in the name of progress and evolution? Have we become unconscious, numb, complacent, lazy, and lacking in common sense? Do we have a spiritual compass, or are we spiritually bankrupt? What are the repercussions for spiritual decay? Do we believe that the path we are on is sustainable?

Has the God that inspired these wise men been reduced to a distant phantom, an afterthought, an irrelevant and controversial entity? Are we so concerned with being politically correct that we tiptoe around the truth? Perhaps this blog has offended some... that is not my intent. Perhaps this blog gives others pause for deep thought and reflection, that is my intent. I am not interested in being politically correct, nor am I interested interested in going out of my way to offend anyone. I am also interested in pursuit of the truth, not what is warm, fuzzy, and comfortable. My writings are likely to be controversial at times... the truth can do that.

I hope to be expanding further on this subject in the near future, and hope you will take the time out of your busy life to read my thoughts in print. In closing I ask my readers to bare with me as I learn the art of blogging. While I have always been a lover of thoughts transferred to print, this is my first blog.
